ALVIS is the AI analyst built into equibles.com. Ask about a company in plain English and it researches the answer from Equibles data, with every figure cited to the filing, transcript or source it came from. There is nothing to install or connect.
Open ALVIS
- Go to equibles.com/alvis, or click ALVIS AI in the site navigation.
- On a stock page, open Use with AI and choose Ask ALVIS about the ticker to start a chat about that company.
- Without an account you get one free answer a day, with a smaller set of tools and nothing saved. A free account keeps your chats and gives you a credit allowance.
Ask a question
Type your question in Ask ALVIS. For a bigger question, ALVIS plans the work and can run several research steps at once, shown as Research, before it answers.
- Answers can include charts and data cards, such as price charts, financials, ownership and valuation.
- Each answer lists its Sources. Open one to read the original document in the source reader beside the chat.
- Choose Fast or Deep reasoning before you ask. Deep Thinking needs Pro.
Workflows
A workflow is a saved research brief that ALVIS follows step by step. Pick one from the launcher above the composer, or just start typing to chat.
- Built in: Industry Analysis, Company Deep Dive, Earnings Call Review, Insider & Congress Signal, Smart-Money / Ownership Tracker, and Valuation & Quality Check.
- + New workflow saves your own. The built-in ones can't be edited.
Credits
- A message or follow-up spends 1 credit, and a workflow run spends 3.
- Screener AI asks (1 credit) and tracker generation (3 credits) draw from the same allowance.
- Two limits apply together: a rolling 5-hour window that starts at your first spend, and a weekly limit that resets on Monday at 00:00 UTC.
- The chat sidebar shows what you have left. Pricing lists each plan's allowance.
- A run that fails on our side refunds its credits.
- ALVIS credits are separate from the MCP and REST daily request limit; asking ALVIS never spends a request from Plans & limits.
Share and export
- Share invites people by email as an Editor or a Viewer. There is no public link; an invitation opens only for the account it was sent to.
- Viewers can read the chat. Editors can also ask follow-ups, which spend the editor's own credits.
- Export saves the chat as a PDF or Markdown note. Only the chat's author can export it.
- Delete chat is for the chat's owner and deletes it for everyone it was shared with. People you shared it with can Leave chat in the Share dialog instead.
ALVIS or the MCP server?
ALVIS works in the browser with nothing to set up. To use Equibles data inside ChatGPT, Claude or your own agent instead, connect the MCP server.
