Employees at Côté Gold received an unexpected visitor in September 2025 when a juvenile bald eagle began spending time in an active area of the mine. Team members monitored the bird’s movements and kept the Environment department informed out of concern for its safety. When the eagle remained on site for more than 24 hours, the Environment team contacted the Turtle Pond Wildlife Centre in Sudbury for assistance. After assessing the eagle, wildlife experts determined it had become habituated to people and could not be safely released back into the wild. The bird was later named Takoda , meaning “friend to everyone,” by members of Mattagami First Nation and Flying Post First Nation. Earlier this month, interns from IAMGOLD's Toronto and Quebec City corporate offices travelled to Côté Gold in Gogama, Ont., as part of the Talent DIG program , gaining firsthand exposure to the people, technology, operations and life-at-site culture. After arriving on site on July 22 and spending the night at camp, the group took part in a full site tour the following day. For many interns, this was their first opportunity to visit a mining operation and see how the work happening across IAMGOLD connects to day-to-day activities at site. Throughout the visit, interns toured the mill, Emergency Response Station, medical clinic, and repair and truck shop. They also had the opportunity to get up close to Côté Gold's autonomous haul trucks and learn more about the technology helping support the operation. IAMGOLD is pleased to announce that two projects at the Westwood mine in Quebec have been selected for funding through Natural Resources Canada's Energy Innovation Program. This funding supports IAMGOLD's ongoing efforts to advance our energy transition objectives: evaluating innovative energy technologies and improving energy efficiency while reducing costs and maintaining operational performance. Supporting innovation at Westwood The selected projects focus on two areas with the potential to reduce energy use and recover wasted energy in mining operations: • Electric Haul Truck Demonstration Westwood has been awarded $2.4 million to support the demonstration of electric haul trucks and the installation of charging infrastructure. The goal of the project is to evaluate whether electric haul trucks could help reduce associated greenhouse gas emissions in certain mining applications. The

A Laurentian University project is using honeybees to examine how pollinators can help inform post-mining reclamation efforts at mine sites. Funded through the IAMGOLD President’s Innovation Fund for Strategic Investment, the two-year project led by Mateus Pepinelli, Assistant Professor in the School of Natural Sciences, is focused on pollinators, biodiversity and ecosystem recovery following mining activities. The research is being carried out in collaboration with Côté Gold’s Environmental Team to set up three apiaries at our mine near Gogama, Ont. On February 16, 2026, Burkina Faso’s Ministry of Health officially presented Essakane with a certificate of recognition in acknowledgment of the mine’s long-standing support for community initiatives across the country. “This distinction reflects Essakane’s sustained commitment for more than 15 years in Burkina Faso, and in particular our contribution to the centenary of the Regional Hospital Centre (RHC) of Dori, a cornerstone of healthcare in the Sahel region,” said Tidiane Barry, General Manager of Essakane. In 2025, Essakane was the largest contributor to the RHC centenary fundraising gala, donating 130 million CFAF (approximately CAD $325,000 at the time).
