QuidelOrtho Enters Strategic Supply Agreement to Expand Global Immunoassay Portfolio
QuidelOrtho has entered a long-term strategic supply agreement with Lifotronic Technology Co., Ltd. (Lifotronic Technology Co., Ltd., stock code: 688389), to expand QuidelOrtho's global immunoassay portfolio and accelerate customer access to scalable, high quality, cost-efficient solutions across select markets outside the United States. The agreement provides QuidelOrtho access to multiple high-throughput and low-to-mid volume immunoassay analyzer platforms, each supported by a broad menu of assays spanning routine and specialty testing. QuidelOrtho China Volume-Based Procurement – Current Considerations
As a result of a recent research report regarding the potential for adoption of a dry chemistry Volume-Based Procurement (VBP) program in China, QuidelOrtho Corporation (the “Company”) is providing the following information: Currently, the Company’s business in China represents approximately 12% of total Company revenue. The Jiangxi Provincial Health Security Administration (HSA) stated that it will “explore launching national centralized procurement for dry chemistry (biochemical) test strips.”1 It is our understanding that there is no detailed proposal or plan for such a process currently. We have no indication that the Company’s products will be included in such a program, nor do we have any details on plans for implementation.
